The first step in leasing an apartment is to fill out an application.
Applications can be mailed or faxed to you, picked up from our office, or printed here right here. Request it to be faxed or emailed to you or click here to print it out now.
You must be 18 years or older to apply. All persons over the age of 18 must fill out a separate application.
To be considered the application must be completed in full, leaving no lines blank. If a line does not apply to you, fill in "NA". If you don’t know an answer, fill in "Don’t Know". If you are not sure on how to answer a question please call our office for assistance. Applications with blank lines will not be considered. Applications without the required copies of documents listed below will not be accepted.
No one has a perfect credit history. You do not need perfect credit to apply to live at Mountain View Apartments. The screening process includes running a credit report, reference, and background checks. This credit check will show up as an inquiry from "Farm to Market Associates"
YOU MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:

Drivers’ license

Two (2) recent pay stubs

Two (2) recent bank statements

Two (2) different bills (phone, electric, cell phone, car payment) that show your current address.
We need your license and bills due to requirements from the National Landlord Association. They require us to take steps to confirm you are who you say you are. This step is to combat identity theft. We require pay stubs to make sure you qualify financially. We require the gross income of all the applicants, in total, not each, to be three times the rent amount. If you are self employed or do not get pay stubs, discuss your situation with our manager to come up with an alternative way to do this. We require bank statements to make sure you do not bounce checks and as a partial back up for your income. Please discuss any questions or concerns you have over credit and/or background requirements with our manager before submitting the application.
Please do not be afraid of any financial dings you may have. We consider everything as a whole and a couple of dings will not be enough reason to reject your application.
If you feel you need more room to explain any point you wish to expand on, please attach any notes/documents you feel you need to with the application.

We do not put pressure on anyone to give us a deposit, but keep in mind we will continue to show an apartment as available until we receive the security deposit and approve your application. Just taking or even submitting an application is not enough to hold the apartment for you. You can choose to give us a deposit before, during, or after you submit an application. The processing of and approving your application is done very quickly.
Once the application is accepted you must execute a lease. The office will call you to make an appointment to do this. A copy of the lease will be mailed to you in advance for you to review it if it has not been given to you already.
