How much is the rent?
The rent depends on which unit you want and the market conditions at the time of moving in. It generally ranges from $950 to $1,600. You can check out our listings and virtual tours on the main page to see approximate pricing of a range of floor plans. You will have to call to get current availability and pricing.
What does my rent include?
It includes refuse removal for all apartments. It includes hot water for all floor plans except the Virginia Pine and Dogwood. Other utilities must be paid for by you.
Are What fees are there in addition to my rent?
There are no maintenance, water, parking, or similar fees that some apartment complexes charge.
Will will my utility costs be?
The electric and gas costs typically run from $900 to $1,300 per year pretty consistently throughout all the apartments here no matter what floor plan you have. You will have to check with Comcast and/or Verizon to see what telephone, internet, and TV packages are available.
Do you require a security deposit?
We require a security deposit equal to one month’s rent.
How much do I need to pay before moving in?
We require the security deposit to hold the apartment for you and the first month's rent to be paid before you take possession of the unit, so depending on the timing I may not need both at the same time.
Will I get my security deposit back when I move out?
As long as you have paid all of your rent, and you leave the unit clean and undamaged, you will get your security deposit back, with interest.
I want to live at Mountain View Apartments. How do I get an Apartment there?
We have an application procedure which includes a credit check and screening process. Read about this application process here. Please note there is no application fee.
I do not have perfect credit. Can I still apply to live here?
Absolutely! No one has perfect credit. If you have any concerns about what your background check will reveal you can discuss it with our manager before the process begins so there are no surprises.
How long is my lease for?
We can be flexible. Most leases here are on a month to month basis. This means you can move out once you give us thirty (30) days notice. We can do a longer term if you like.
How many people can live in one apartment?
You may have up to four (4) people in your apartment.
Do you allow pets?
We are currently not accepting any new dogs. Other pets are considered on a case by case basis.
What school district is Mountain View Apartments in?
The Mountain View Apartment community is in the Brewster School District. There is a school bus stop on the property.
How are the apartments managed?
We have a manager on staff who is responsible for running the day to day business of the apartments. This is the only rental complex he manages. It is not a manager or management company that has to deal with hundreds of apartments or a dozen complexes. This means you get better attention when you need maintenance or help.
